Rug washing
I wash, reproof your rugs with the utmost care here on site in Utkinton. All repairs are done as close to the original material as i can. 24hr emergency repairs and wasing can be undertaken, contact for details.
Washing and reproofing
All rugs are washed in nickwax products which are approved by Rambo and Fal Pro rugs. These products carefully cleanse your rug without any harsh detergents.
I reccomend reproofing a turnout rug if it is more than a year old or the horse lives 24/7 in it.
All repairs are done as close to the origional material, stainless steel fastenings are used, on surcingle and buckles.
While I take great care of your beloved rugs I cannot be held responsible for any problems that may occur during the washing process, all rugs are left at the owners own risk.
Benefit's to the horse
A clean rug is likely to be warmer for the horse it is more comfortable and is nicer for us humans to change. A well reproofed turn out will keep the worst that the winter can throw at us, keeping your beloved horse snug warm and dry.
Summer sheets can be used under stable rugs to keep the coat clean over winter and are easy to wash and dry.
More than one turnout rug is recommended as horses can rip and destroy their rugs at the most inopportune time!!
